1. How I lose it

To get fit, I need to lose fat not muscle. So in order to do that I have to eat clean. Theoretically this means: No processed food, carbs only in the morning, no white bread/rice, no chocolate, no sugar, only fat-free dairy products.

But let’s be honest that isn’t sustainable at all. So of course I try to cut most of it out, but if I do have some of the “banned” foods, it isn’t the end of the world.

I used to also get in the habit of taking supplements, e.g. pre-workout (which I find really helps me get through a three-hour scorcher), and protein shakes for post-workout/lunch. But since university has begun it isn’t sustainable.

For exercise, I love running so I either get outside or on the treadmill, making sure I up my incline to maximise calorie-burning. I really enjoy Body Pump classes at my gym to gain lean muscle and strength. I do a lot of ab work as well.
